Brigid Mae Power — live tour biography
Spanning more than a decade of performing, composing and producing, Brigid Mae Power traverses the rugged landscapes of psychedelic folk, swaying between traditional Irish song and echoes of American folk music, anchored by her transcendent vocal melodies. Now, Power has begun to explore more experimental territories, using her voice and experience as her compass.
Power’s discography comprises five studio albums (Self-titled [2016], The Two Worlds [2018], Head Above The Water [2020], Dream from the Deep Well [2023] and Songs for You [2025]) alongside several EPs, live recordings, covers and singles. She has toured extensively across the UK, Europe, Japan, Ireland and the United States.
Her music confronts our most vulnerable and emotional facets, with songs that meander through deep introspection and invite listeners to interrogate memories that are deeply personal yet somehow universal. In song and on stage, she lays herself bare through her melancholic lyricism: like shimmering, dappled moonlight cast across the restless surface of an obsidian sea.
Power commands her voice effortlessly, shifting and jolting between octaves with intuitive precision and often delivering hard truths with a disarming softness amongst the self-taught, resonant textures of guitar, accordion and piano.
Her live performances possess a rare intimacy, flinging open a door into her world with an authenticity and warmth that lingers long after the final song.
